Last night was the State of the Union speech. What is usually the President telling the country what his plans are for the upcoming year was nothing more than a campaign speech for Biden. And I didn’t even watch it! I only caught certain parts of the speech thanks to The Daily Wire. I’ve never actually watched an entire SOTU speech because it’s so full of bull that a full body suit can’t keep you from being smeared with poop. True story. And of course, there is always a rebuttal speech from the opposite side of the political isle afterwards. An Alabama senator by the name of Katie Britt had the job of the rebuttal speech. I listened to bits and pieces of her rebuttal. Her voice was awful and squeaky. And then when it sounded like her voice might actually get stronger, she started to tear up and was on the verge of a full blown meltdown. As a woman, it was more than I could take. I’m glad I didn’t actually listen to the entire thing and what I did listen to made me want to ‘WTH’. She should have put on her big girl panties and stood her ground and showed the country that she was ready for a show down. Senator Britt, as a southern woman, you should know to stand up straight, shoulders back, and take charge of the situation at hand. You failed miserably. If you are gonna play in the political arena, it’s like raising kids. Stand your ground, don’t budge on what is right, and never show your weakness.
